So here it is, the long anticipated acoustic album of these Swiss folk metallers who had been enjoying a well-deserved success with their last effort Slania. This new album is quite different from other releases of the band. It is the first part of a 2-piece effort, with Evocations II - Visions, set to come out later this year. They decided to make this an entirely acoustic folk album that includes no metal elements at all, so it should be invaluable to all the folk fans out there who don't like death metal elements, right? Well let's see if it lives up to the expectations.

Oh common
i just spent the past hour listening to this album.
It took me a whole year to fully appreciate this folk masterpiece!
although it is not metal at all, it is a great work of art! the melodies fill your soul with an amazing feeling of... well knowing you are a part of this beautiful world we live in. helps you forget about the technological world we live in, and it sends you to this place where nature governs over the people; just like it used to be a long time ago. im sure not many "metal" albums can achieve this sence of bein part of nature.
hail Eluveitie for bringing a new feeling to our metal community!

Nice change of pace and i always appreciate acoustic albums but it coulda been executed slightly better if every song featured a more digestable song structure. Still awedome for what it is and love it tho! take this one into the woods! you wont regret it
