Yes, Fever was...diffrent..compared to Poison or Scream, I hope they will return to their roots for any more albums

Its something that from their previous albums they raised the bar so high that "FEVER" to me sounded really sucked up stuff. Well, Lets see If they come up with some different material next time.

I just got this album a couple days ago and I've already heard tears don't fall, SUWOS, and ATTIH which are pretty good songs. A few filler songs on this album but overall a 7.5.

I admit, I'm not a fan anymore but this album tugs at my memories pretty hard. I miss being twelve and stupid. Otherwise, it has a few good ones - Room 409 has always been my favorite though.

Same here. I may look at this album as a piece of crap nowadays (and even saying that I can acknowledge this is far from the worst thing I've ever heard) but back when I first started listening to bands like As I Lay Dying and Killswitch Engaged I thought this album was the shit. Plus it's one of those really obvious albums that a certain edgy teenager getting over a breakup might take to.

Meh, Poison The Well, Hopesfall, Misery Signals and other obvious personally anguished hardcore bands do that much better .
Must admit though I don't completely despise this album hihi.

I enjoyed when it came out.
I got this old CD with me where Hit The Floor is in it. Damn, I use to enjoy that song a lot.

No argument there, but my listening habits were fairly limited back then. I think I only really invested time in discovering about a handful of bands (Amon Amarth, Cradle of Filth, Disturbed, Insomnium, Lamb of God, Slipknot plus BFMV and KSE as previously mentioned) so I had no idea I could branch out and find more interesting music until I discovered Metal-Archives and then later Metal Storm.

Yeah, I find myself judging BFMV pretty harsh these days because of their latest albums and just because they seem so cookie-cutterish with the lyrics and "screamo" growling style. However, this album and Scream Aim Fire are not as atrocious as I like to think they are. Same thing happened to me with AILD to be honest - I used to think they were the best metal band in the world...yeah, the delusion was pretty high there.

AILD are still pretty cool to me .
Though I like their second and third albums way better than their later stuffs. I basically got into melodic metalcore via Shadows Are Security and that was actually long after I delved into more "kvlt" metal than AILD.

I think AILD are/were alright. I was cleaning my music library last night and while I was listening, I concluded that while I do like their music, Lambesis' style of growling really kills it for me, which I kind of find ironic ifyouknowhatimean. Their older albums, I think, are definitely better - while they didn't necessarily "mellow out," something about their newer ones (especially Awakened) just sounds too pop-ish for me (gosh, I sound like a hipster, I'm sorry).

99% exactly the same early metalhead history for me right here. (Only reason not 100% is cuz I never listened to Insomnium)

My only regret in life is that I was never edgy enough to appreciate 'Tears Don't Fall'.

That could be your biggest regret in your life.
No matter what folks says here, I still haven't come out of the greatness of Tears Don't Fall.
It's surreal.
