Rating: 9 Really great! I love the bits of thrash thrown in...without it, this release would be lost inna sea of other bands...Rifftastic!

Rating: 9 So here I am trying to cram the remaining 2010 releases into my head before the voting, getting very tired of a bunch of same-y metal and BAM! here comes Seven Kingdoms. Ok, I'm awake!!! Incredible album, reminds me why I love power metal in the first place. This is what it should be! Damn!

I know, right?! What took me so long

Their awesomeness is consuming me a bit and I have a review half done

Rating: 9 Wow, great music, feeling, and the drummer is fantastic... i'll see if i can get an original copy. They play in the tour with Blind Guardian, toguether with "Holy Grail" (their album is also very good), both new groups (from latest years) in a similar style from United States, imo they are new blood for the Power Metal! yeah.

The new generation awaits us in the next decade, we will see, good luck for both.

These songs are awesome:

Vengeance By The Sons Of A King
Into The Darkness
Seven Kingdoms

Rating: 5 Shame, this album proved to be very very uneventful I thought..The drumming was good though.

Rating: 9 Wow, listening to their title track on myspace and it seriously rocks. Reminds me of Iced Earth in a good way
Death To Posers - 09.02.2011 at 09:02
Rating: 9 Damn shame that albums like this don't get more exposure...

Rating: 8 Awesome power metal! I saw them with Blind Guardian and was blown away! I bought the album from the tiny swag stand and even got the band to sing it for me.

Rating: 6 After many listens, I've just can't get over how much the singer sounds like an uninspired Floor Jansen sound-a-like. Totally ruins the good riffage for me.

The singer's voice is one of the best things of this band.

Not many can match Floor's skill, but in this context, she sounds pretty good already imo

Rating: 6 Eh, she just sounds about as emotive as a rock to me. That's all. *shrugs*
Rhiannon - 25.03.2013 at 13:54
Rating: 8 Nice album, good riffs, cachy choruses. Highlights: Somewhere Far Away, Open The Gates, Eyes To The North(beauty and the beast vocals in power metal, interesting)
