And yet they dont sound nothing simillar to each other

This, just this. They have almost nothing in common except the facts they both are excellent albums and are categorized as Black Metal.

Frankly speaking, I'm embarassed with the bands from Greece. The majority of them are really very interesting.
I like both Aenaon albums very much. The combination of black and progressive elements really deserve only highest rates

No it isn't a competition, but it isn't unreasonable to compare two bands that play within similar genres.

Indeed.

They are pretty similar actually. Both play a form of progressive black metal. This one is more metal-oriented though, while Oi Magoi has some progressive/psychedelic rock in its sound. While I really like this album, I think Oi Magoi is definitely the better of the two.

they are nothing alike man, this is more Jazz oriented with a progressive layer on top of Black Metal. Saying this is simillar to Oi Magoi its like saying King Crimson and Yes were simillar. Both were progressive but on completely different roads.

OK RavenEffect. They're completely different. You win.

Fact of the matter is I still didn't like the album. Eliminate any comparison I made to Oi Magoi before, and let it stand on its own.

Some progressive/psychedelic rock in its sound? More like some black "metal"

Regardless of genre, this is just good music. Probably my favorite album in the top 10.

Not a bad album by any stretch, but Hail Spirit Noir's Oi Magoi overshadows this album completely. I'd say it is a little too long for its own good.

I completely agree with this. Although as a local I can say that there is a developing scene here in Greece over this kind of black. Very promising.

Oof, a really complex and original album. I found it to be more extreme progressive than a black metal album. The song structures are really really twisted, it's hard to put a finger on a song.
