Very enjoyable. I think this is something quite different for On Thorns I Lay, but not really standing out in the death doom genre.

Anyway, is it just me or the volume of all tracks are very low?

Dan Swano produced, so it isn't loudness maxed like most records. You gotta turn this shit up to get the full effect.

Concept One
Listening to their early albums it's interesting to hear how doom is changed over the years. Only death and black metal show similar improvement. Other main genres are in 90% of cases the same since 80s.

Https://www.facebook.com/stefanos.kintzoglou This is the singer and he TRULY believes in God...I'll call the band's genre as 'Christian Metal' hahaha...ridiculous!

I was expecting something like early Katatonia or Draconian based on the genre tags - there's some of that later on but the first couple of songs reminded me more of Insomnium and Be'lakor. It's well put-together and generally pretty solid overall, although death/doom in general is not a preferred subgenre of mine, even with the melancholy melodeath influences.

This was so boring. I had trouble getting through it once I sat down and gave it a real listen to. Skotos was a really good song, other than that, pass pass pass.
