This is still great, probably the bm album that has Ive spinned the most this year without it getting boring. I am a bit curious if it will slowly continue to grow as the production is a bit murky and more things could be ready to start revealing themselves.

With Varathron, this actually could be the best greek bm Ive heard.

"Every night, full of drugs and liquor, I see, floating above my bed, the Devil.
This woman in white dress, Satan Herself.
She's beautiful. She's there for me. Translucent.
I'm in love with her."

This feels incredibly influenced by the likes of Akercocke mixed with Nightbringer. A fantastic concept of an album, yet somehow lacking. The dissonant riffing breaks through the dense, suffocating atmosphere, but that's all you hear aside from muffled blastbeats and elongated barking for vocals. It seems somewhat scattered in its approach, with unconventional time signatures and odd song structures, which is a testament to their abilities more than anything. It just doesn't resonate with me and leaves me with a sense of annoyance.
