Biography

SinHeresY rose officially in May 2009 in Trieste when the bassist Davide Sportiello met the guitarist Lorenzo Pasutto and the Friulian singer Cecilia Petrini. In the following months, the drummer Alex Vescovi and the vocalist Stefano Sain joined the band. With this line-up, SinHeresY started in May 2010 their live activity in Friuli and in the near-by Slovenia and in September the band realized a home-made demo containing two original songs with power metal influences on the wake of Nightwish, Edenbridge, and After Forever.

Then the band began the compositions of new songs where the dominant power root got limited for a darker and more powerful sound, influenced by Sportiello's preference for gothic atmospheres of band such as Sirenia, Delain and Within Temptation and by Pasutto's background with predominant sonorities of bands such as Children Of Bodom, Symphony X, and Kamelot.

In June 2011 the work was accomplished and SinHeresY entered Studio 73 in Ravenna. They committed themselves to Riccardo Pasini (already working with Extrema, Ephel Duath, BeerBong) for the recordering of their official debut EP The Spiders And The Butterfly. In October the band signed a distribution contract with the label Revalve Records owned by Roberto "Rob" Cufaro (constitutor and ex member of Theatres Des Vampires). At the same time the keyboard player Daniele Girardelli joined the band, relieving from this task Sportiello who was holding this role temporarily.

The Spiders And The Butterfly gained immediately general approval from critics and public. It was even elected best demo of the month by the prestigious italian Metal Maniac magazine. In January 2012 SinHeresY joined K2 Music Management, that deals with the band's promotion and booking activity. During the same year SinHeresY shot the official video of "Temptation Flame", under the direction of Marco Tessarolo and Mario Orman, and the lyric video of "Forever Us", also directed by Mario Orman.

In April 2012 the band opened in Trieste the first concert of Seventh Wonder's Italian tour. In the meanwhile they started the composition of the songs which will be part of their first full-length. For the new album they decided to underline the "cinematic" side of the band, with this aim they called the composer and arranger Lorenzo Visintin, who wrote the orchestral tessitura of the songs. At the end of the pre-production phase, in January 2013 the band started a mini-tour across the Baltic nations, where the new songs, presented for the first time, were welcomed with excellent opinions.

In June of the same year the band revealed the title of the album Paint the World and signed with Bakerteam Records for its release. The full-length will be recorded between Ravenna's Fear Studio and Studio 73 for the band's parts, and Trieste's Fandango Sound Studio and Urban Recording Studio for the parts of the guest musicians, among them the choir Auricorale Vivavoce directed by Monica Cesar. Then the album will be mixed and mastered in Sweden, at Varberg's Fascination Street Studios, by Johan Örnborg and Jens Bogren.
