I agree whit Nejde we can't save whole world,

Even if that happens, people will realize that the right will exacerbate their problems, not solve them. It's a phase. But we can use our votes to make sure the damage they can cause has limits.

I'm always hoping for the best and I will vote in that direction but realistically I'm afraid my ideals are not popular enough within the EU to win anything

But that failed as soon as the treaty of Paris was rejected in 1952, once again nations cannot agree on a common direction to go in and that has been an issue from the start when only 6 countries were working together

I'm convinced the original plan with the EU (or EEC) was to lead to a 'United States Of Europe' of some sort

The EU is paralyzed by different countries having different goals in mind and there is no real common direction

I definitely agree, but unfortunately I believe that the RN will keep growing and will most likely win in 2027. I hope I'm wrong, but that's how it appears given current polls
