Malefice - Announce New Guitarist
UK metalcore outfit Malefice have announced Andy Wilson as their new guitarist. Andy replaces Alex Vuskans who parted ways with the band this year. The band posted the following on their Facebook page: "After a baptism of fire standing in for Alex Vuskans on the bands recent UK run with Sylosis, Malefice have announced that Andy Wilson will take over on a permanent basis."

Malefice - Another New Song Online
"Minutes", a brand-new track from UK metalcore act Malefice has been made available for streaming over at AltSounds.
Another new track, called "Delirium" is still available for streaming over at Metal-Hammer.de, while a video for "Awaken the Tides" can be watched over at Bloody-Disgusting.com.
"Minutes", "Delirium" and "Awaken the Tides" come off the band's upcoming new album, entitled Awaken the Tides, which will be released in Europe on July 15th, in the UK on July 18th, and in North America on August 2nd through Metal Blade Records. Malefice - New Video Online
"Awaken The Tides", the new video from UK metalcore act Malefice can now be watched over at Bloody-Disgusting.com.
The clip was directed by Stuart Birchall, produced by You Know Ltd, with post production by Alex Dunn and cinematography by Rob Wilton. The video was shot at the Hack Green Nuclear Bunker in Cheshire, UK, which played a pivotal role in the defence of Britain for over 60 years.
"Awaken the Tides" is the title track off the band's upcoming new album, which will be released in Europe on July 15th, in the UK on July 18th, and in North America on August 2nd through Metal Blade Records. More album details were previously reported over here.

Malefice - Part Ways With Drummer, Replacement Announced

Malefice have announced their new drummer is Chris Allan-Whyte who will make his debut appearance in Dundee on May 19, 2010 at the start of the Reading outfit's two-week UK headlining tour.
Chris replaces Craig Thomas who bowed out amicably at the New England Metal And Hardcore Festival in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA.
Frontman Dale Butler comments on the seamless switchover: "Malefice and Craig have been growing apart musically for some time, and therefore we all decided it was a good time for everyone to move on. We all want to thank him for his years of dedication, we'll never forget the good times we had and we wish him luck in his new chosen direction!
Chris had the job as soon as he started playing. He was our last audition and we could tell looking around the room at the smiles on each other's faces, that the whole band was convinced we had found our man. He's brought new venom to our sound, and we're really enjoying playing our music with the fresh vigour and perspective that he brings! We all know Chris from his previous band Shy Of The Depth, who we toured with a few years ago, so on a professional and a personal level, we're ready to get out on the road from May, with the new line up and kick some fucking heads in! See you in the pit!"
