Life Of Agony - Announce Tour Dates

Brooklyn-based Life Of Agony recently signed a worldwide record deal with Napalm Records. They are currently hard at work on their new album and Napalm Records debut A Place Where There's No More Pain, which is due in early 2017. Unfortunately last week drummer Sal Abruscato was injured causing LOA to cancel their upcoming European tour dates, but fear not. Sal will be fully recovered soon and the band will be returning to Europe this November. The European jaunt kicks off November 13th in Vienna, Austria and runs through December 10th in Aalborg, Denmark. Life Of Agony will also be playing two special shows in the Northeast this fall.

Allegaeon - Premiere New Track

As previously announced, melodic death metal outfit Allegaeon has welcomed vocalist Riley McShane to their ranks. Last year, he joined the group on tour with label-mates Act Of Defiance - now, Allegaeon is giving fans their first taste of new music with Riley via Bandcamp. Sabaton - Second New Single Released

Megadeth - Dirk Verbeuren Announced As Full Time Member

It looks like drummer Dirk Verbeuren has made a good impression on Megadeth. After being tapped by the band for a few shows, he now joins them as their new permanent drummer. Verbeuren, formerly of Swedish metal band Soilwork, has been performing with the band for months, his first show was Rock on the Range festival in May.

Nightwish - Band's Song In Olympic Games

A Nightwish song will be heard on the upcoming Olympic Games. The symphonic metallers seem to be everywhere - even in sports! The Australian national team of synchronized swimmers now announced that they will be using their song "Last Ride Of The Day" off Nightwish's Imaginaerum from 2012 for their competition at the Olympics. The track will be played in an orchestral version during the swim performance of the team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Scour - Debut EP Available Online

In case you are not familiar with Scour, they are the new band fronted by Phil Anselmo (Pantera, Down). The other band members are John Jarvis (bass, Pig Destroyer), Derek Engemann (guitar, Cattle Decapitation), Chase Fraser (guitar, Continuum, ex-Animosity, ex-Decrepit Birth), and Jesse Schobel (drums, Strong Intention). The band releases their debut self-titled EP today (July 15th) through Anselmo's own Housecore Records. The full stream is available at this location.

Eluveitie - To Play Upcoming Shows With Liv Kristine

As you probably remember, Eluveitie recently lost three band members. Now, the band announced that they want to take some time to carefully look for new members and find the perfect new line-up. But at the same time, the group will play every single show already confirmed for this year. So, they recruited talented step-in session musicians to play all their upcoming shows this year. For a few selected dates, Eluveitie unveil even a fourth guest: Liv Kristine (ex-Leaves' Eyes, ex-Theatre Of Tragedy) will share the stage with them and sing classics like "A Rose For Epona".

Drowning Pool - To Perform With 82-Year-Old Fan

Drowning Pool will have a special guest appearance on their upcoming performance at the Chicago Open Air. The 82-year-old Navy veteran and aerospace manager John Hetlinger performed their hit "Bodies" on the NBC competition show America's Got Talent and the video went viral. Shortly after, Drowning Pool's guitarist CJ Pierce chatted with Entertainment Weekly, inviting Hetlinger to perform during an upcoming set at Chicago Open Air. Hetlinger replied on Twitter accepting the invitation, and now it's happening! It should be entertaining.

Dark Tranquillity - Share New Album Title, Cover And More
