Multi-instrumentalist Yossi Sassi, known as one of the founding members of Orphaned Land, is releasing his third solo album this year. The band has started working on the new release and since it will be self-released, a pre-order has been set up and all the incomes from the orders will be used to finance the recording of this album, titled Roots And Roads. According to Yossi, this album will be heavier and feature many guest vocalists as well.

Italian gothic doom metallers The Foreshadowing previously announced a new album scheduled to be released on April 15th 2016 via Cyclone Empire Records. Faroese Vikings Týr have lost their drummer Amon Djurhuus Ellingsgaard who served them as a fill-in drummer back in 2008, and became a permanent member in 2013. For the time being, Amon will continue to be a member of Heljareyga, the brainchild of Týr's vocalist and guitarist Heri Joensen.
