Steven Wilson - Crowned Prog Rock King At Progressive Music Awards

After receiving very positive feedback for his brilliant 2015 album, Hand. Cannot. Erase., Steven Wilson was awarded the Album Of The Year award, the Commercial Breakthrough award and The Storm Thorgerson Grand Design Award at this year's Progressive Music Awards held in London, UK. Following these awards, Wilson was crowned prog rock king as he continues to find solo success.

Leprous - Guitarist Petter Hallaråker To Fill In Live

One of Norway's inspiring progressive acts, Leprous, have just announced that guitarist Øystein Landsverk will take a parental leave soon, due to the upcoming birth of his first child. The band were pre-planning this with ICS Vortex and Rendezvous Point's guitarist, Petter Hallaråker. The lads at Leprous stated accordingly that they will be playing the remaining dates of this year's tour as usual, with Petter stepping up to substitute Øystein Landsverk.

Revocation - To Reissue 'Empire Of The Obscene'

Boston thrashers Revocation have been touring across North America and the rest of the world in support of their latest release 2014's Deathless which was released on Metal Blade Records. Now the group has announced the long anticipated reissue and release of the band's 2008 album Empire Of The Obscene. French black metallers Aosoth recently announced through their label's Facebook page a new EP entitled IV to be released on vinyl on the 23rd of October, 2015 via Agonia Records. This two-track release will feature one completely new song and a remix of "Broken Dialogue" from the band's latest full-lenght effort, IV: An Arrow In Heart. Napalm Death - Share New Music Video

Apex Predator - Easy Meat came out this year and is the most recent album from grindcore titans Napalm Death. The band has been touring in support of the record and continues to do so with shows scheduled until the end of the year. Today they also debut the album's second video clip, for the track "How The Years Condemn" which is composed by live footage shot in North America by Doug Brown and enhanced by animation courtesy of Costin Chioreanu/Twilight Media.
