Danzig - Reveal Covers Album Artwork

Danzig will release his long-awaited covers record, Skeletons, in November via Evilive Music. The CD, which was recorded with Prong guitarist/vocalist Tommy Victor and former Type O Negative drummer Johnny Kelly, will include the former Misfits frontman's take on songs by Black Sabbath ("N.I.B."), ZZ Top ("Rough Boy"), The Troggs ("A Girl Like You"), The Everly Brothers ("Crying In The Rain") and others. Slugdge - New Album Available For Free Stream

Magnus Karlsson - Releases Lyric Video For Solo Track

A while ago, Swedish guitarist Magnus Karlsson unveiled his debut solo album. His solo project Magnus Karlsson's Free Fall will release Kingdom Of Rock on November 6th through Frontiers Music Srl. You can hear the new track "Kingdom Of Rock" below as a foretaste. This track in particular features singer Jørn Lande who has previously worked with Magnus Karlsson on Allen/Lande.

Cauldron - New Album Artwork, Tracklist Revealed

Canadian metallers Cauldron recently confirmed that they will release their fourth studio album, In Ruin, on January 8th via The End Records. High Roller Records will make the album available in Europe later on January 29th. The cover artwork for the album has now been unveiled and can be seen below alongside the song titles.

Shadowside - To Record New Album, Bassist Quits

Shadowside are working on their next album and once again, the band will record it in Gothenburg, Sweden, with producer Fredrik Nordström, who worked with the power metallers on their latest album, Inner Monster Out released back in 2011. More details and the recording date will be announced soon! In other news, the band has parted ways with their bassist Fabio Carito. The new bass player is already working with the band and will be announced as well.

Solution .45 - Reveal New Album Title, Cover

After five years, melodic death metallers Solution .45 are finally releasing a new album and have now revealed its first details. Nightmares In The Waking State - Part I shall be released worldwide on November 20th, through AFM Records. It will be released on CD and gatefold blue 2-vinyl (strictly limited to 500 units), as well as through most digital platforms. The band has been working on two new albums, so a second one should come out later. See the cover below and start getting excited.

Sabaton - Frontman Loses Drunken Bet, Must Walk To Next Show

And now for something a little bit different. Sabaton is playing the Trondheim Metal Fest, which takes place between October 1st and 3rd. While the rest of the band will be getting to the show by other means of transportation from their hometown of Falun in Sweden, frontman Joakim Brodén will be walking. The frontman lost a drunken bet with the rest of the band and has to walk to Trondheim in Norway (552 km)! While some would back down, he is actually doing it.

Pagan's Mind - Release New DVD Trailer

Prog/power metal band Pagan's Mind is releasing a new DVD! One year ago, the band performed at ProgPower USA where they recorded the upcoming live DVD/Blu-ray Full Circle. On September 11th 2014, a historical performance took place at Center Stage, featuring the classic album Celestial Entrance in its entirety plus an additional set of "True Norwegian Hard-Hitting In-Your-Face Space Metal", including the instrumental piece "Full Circle". It is this piece which comprises the theme of the show you are about to witness. And now the band will release this concert on October 16th 2015 as a 2CD/DVD digipak version, Blu-ray/2CD version, 2LP gatefold version and download through Steamhammer /SPV. Chelsea Grin - Part Ways With Guitarist Jason Richardson

Guitarist Jason Richardson has left deathcore outfit Chelsea Grin. He has been pursuing a solo career and parts ways with the band "based on musical differences." Stephen Rutishauser, who has been touring with the band, is their new guitarist and they promise a new album next year.
