Nightwish, Children Of Bodom And More - Honored With Stamps

The Finns do it again, this time with metal stamps! A music-themed stamp sheet is set to be released in September designed by graphic artist Klaus Welp when the Finnish postal service, Posti, issues several new series of stamps. The rock and metal stamps were created to honor six Finnish bands that have achieved international success and they look pretty neat. The bands featured in the stamps are Hanoi Rocks, The Rasmus, HIM, Apocalyptica, Children Of Bodom and Nightwish.

Periphery - Release New Video Clip

Periphery are about to embark on the second leg of their North American tour dates in support of the Juggernaut albums and have premiered a new clip for "The Bad Thing". Elyose - Releasing Second Full-Length Album

French industrial gothic metallers Elyose just announced the details regarding their sophomore album entitled Ipso Facto. The new album will drop on June 15th and will be distributed via Season Of Mist. The mix and mastering of the album was done by Brett Caldas-Lima at Tower Studio and the artwork is the creation of Toxic Visions Design. Kingcrow - New Album Set For Release In June

Italians Kingcrow have been working hard on a new album to follow 2013's In Crescendo. Previously, the band revealed that it would be called Eidos but now we know more about it. The progressive metallers return this year with a new conceptual album about choices, consequences, dealing with regret and disillusion. After their album Phlegethon dealt with childhood, and In Crescendo about the end of youth, Eidos can be considered the third part of a trilogy about the path of life. The album will be released worldwide on June 23rd through Sensory Records (Laser's Edge).

Whitesnake - New Keyboardist Announced

Whitesnake has recently announced the addition of keyboardist/singer Michele Luppi to the group's ranks. In 2011, Michele became the singer of Secret Sphere and released the album Portrait Of A Dying Heart the following year. He was also a member of Vision Divine and Thaurorod.

Deftones - To Co-Headline US Tour With Incubus

Californian-based alternative metallers Deftones are pleased to announce a summer co-headlinining tour across the United States with Incubus, featuring special guests Death From Above 1979 and The Bots. This tour will start at the end of July in Clarkston, MI and will go through the whole month of August. Deftones are currently working on their upcoming new album, to be released in September/October.

Agnostic Front - Another New Video Online

New York hardcore unit Agnostic Front has released the third video from their eleventh and newest album, The American Dream Died. "A Wise Man", their latest video, can now be viewed below. The song features guitarist Matt Henderson (Madball). The band is touring in support of the album and will head to Europe next month.

Doom - Three Dead And Twelve Injuried In Building Collapse

During a concert in Santiago, Chile on April 16th, featuring legendary crust punk band Doom, the venue building collapsed. The building collapsed due to the capacity was exceeded by about 50 people. Three people, identified as Daniel Isaías Moraga, 24, Gastón Eduardo Angladetti, 25, and Fabián González, 22, lost their lives and twelve people, whereas seven of them are critically injured, was sent to hospital.
