Dark Lunacy - Announce Russian Tour

Italian death metallers Dark Lunacy released their new record entitled The Day Of Victory this year. Now the band finally announces the headline tour in support of the album that will include 9 Russian cities. All the dates can be seen below. The tour will also feature two supporting acts - thrashers Black Propaganda from Turin and progressive death metal band Synodik from Genoa.

Giant Squid - New Album In October

Giant Squid is back with a new album this year! According to the band's website, the band has been tracking their new album, titled Minoans, at Louder Studios in Grass Valley, California with Tim Green (Melvins, Fucking Champs, Red Sparrows, Pleasure Forever, Karp). Their label Translation Loss will be releasing Minoans on CD/digital/vinyl simultaneously around October, 2014. You can expect more details to come soon. For those who have been waiting for the successor to The Ichthyologist and EP Cenotes, this will come as good news.

Machine Head - Settle Legal Dispute With Bassist Adam Duce

You might remember that at the beginning of this year, the former long-time Machine Head bassist Adam Duce filed a lawsuit against the band and their manager, among others. He was seeking damages for trademark infringement, breach of partnership agreement and defamation, and claimed he was kicked out of the band. It seems that this dispute has been settled, according to a post on the band's Facebook page. However, the group didn't reveal the terms of the deal. The Americans continue to work on their brand new album, set for release in November this year.
