Babymetal - Unveil 'The One' Video

Babymetal are at it again with a second video from the impending album, Metal Resistance. The song that they are showcasing this time is "The One". The live video features singers/dancers Su-Metal, Moametal and Yuimetal performing within a triangular enclosure that's suspended above an arena-size crowd. The video was filmed on December 13th, 2015 at Yokohama Arena in Japan on the final date of their world tour.

Finnish heavy metal singer Noora Lauhimo (of Battle Beast fame) has launched the new solo project Noora Louhimo Experience. She did not leave Battle Beast and, in fact, remains focused on their new album. However, Noora Louhimo Experience will be doing some shows and also work on new songs.

Caligula's Horse - New Music Video Revealed

Australian innovators Caligula's Horse released their acclaimed third album, Bloom, last year. Now, a new promotional video from it is revealed. Filmed at GC Studios on the Gold Coast, Caligula's Horse further collaborated with Adrian Goleby, who also worked on the band's videos for "A Gift To Afterthought" and "Firelight". The aim was to create a video that was uplifting, but also one that conveyed a strong political message. Watch the video for the single "Turntail" below.

Norma Jean - New Album In September

Wrongdoers is getting a follow-up this year. Metalcore output Norma Jean just revealed the release date of their new and seventh album: September 9th, 2016 through Solid State Records. Katatonia - To Play Entire 'The Great Cold Distance' In Bulgaria

Katatonia are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their landmark album The Great Cold Distance with an exclusive show in Bulgaria. On Thursday 22nd September, they will be performing an exclusive show in the magnificent Roman theatre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The band will be joined by the renowned Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra on their first set, playing the entire album. There will also be a second set, without the orchestra, that will see the band playing a selection of their greatest hits, both old and new. It seems promising.

Somnus Aeternus - New Album Details And Teasers Revealed

Czech doom metallers Somnus Aeternus are releasing their sophomore album, Exulansis, via Epidemie Records on April 1st, 2016. The 52-minute album consists of 6 tracks of doom metal tinged with post-metal and black metal influences. The record explores, in a lyrically and musically unorthodox way, the boundaries of pure madness and pure emotion. The basic premise of the concept of the album is that no matter if they take place against the everyday rut or grand circumstances, they are the only real evidence of us being alive. Metallica - 'Master Of Puppets' Preserved By US Library Of Congress

Metallica's 1986 masterpiece Master Of Puppets has been preserved for posterity and is the first metal title to be given the honour of being added to the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress. The record was selected as one of the 25 new sound recordings added to the registry of works that are "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."
