Moonlyght - To Release New Album In 2015

Quebec's progressive black/death metal band Moonlyght has officially announced its line-up for 2015, as well as the release of their third album titled Return To Desolation that will come out via the Canadian label Blast Head Records in 2015. They will release a brand new song in December from their comeback album.

Xerath - Premiere New Video

Symphonic/djent metallers Xerath decided to premiere a new video today. The British band just debuted online a video for the groovy song "Bleed This Body Clean" taken from III, their latest opus, released in September on Candlelight Records. The video features footage of the band performing live.

Lock Up - Tomas Lindberg Leaves, Recruit Kevin Sharp

Lock Up have some good and bad news to share. First of all, they announced an important line-up change. Their vocalist since 2002, Tomas "Tompa" Lindberg of At The Gates fame, has left the band due to "schedule/logistic issues". However, the band has recruited Kevin Sharp (Brutal Truth, Primate, Venomous Concept). The good news is that they will enter the studio in the coming months to record the follow-up album to Necropolis Transparent. The band is currently busy in writing mode and currently seeking a new label home and hope for an early summer release of the as yet untitled new album.

Cloudkicker - Announce New Release

When they just released Live With Intronaut, Cloudkicker have already announced a new release for December. The mastermind Ben Sharp is always very prolific and never seems to stop. The new release is called Little Histories and is coming out on December 1st and will be available on Bandcamp digitally and on 10" vinyl.

Thou - Releasing Collaboration Album With The Body

There is a new collaboration on the horizon. American sludge/doom metallers Thou are joining forces with The Body again. After releasing the collaboration EP Released From Love earlier this year, the two bands will release a new, collaborative album called You, Whom I Have Always Hated. It's coming out on Thrill Jockey Records on January 27th, 2015. The release includes a version of "Terrible Lie" by Nine Inch Nails. The remainder was written collaboratively in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and then further refined on their 2014 tour together.

Soen just released the second album of their career. It's called Tellurian and it's been well-received. Previously, the band shared a first video for the track "Tabula Rasa" and today they release the second video from this new opus. System Of A Down - Announce Wake Up The Souls Tour

While System Of A Down haven't released a new album since 2005's Hypnotize and Mezmerize, they continue to tour and perform live. Next year, the group will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide with their Wake Up The Souls Tour, commencing on April 10th and concluding with their first-ever performance in Armenia with a free show in Yerevan's Republic Square. Countermove - Dutch Musicians Releasing Charity Single For Red Cross

Recently, we found out about a new project, The Countermove Foundation, which was born in 2014 as an initiative of professional musicians from The Netherlands. We knew they were working on something together but now it's been revealed that it is a charity single for the Red Cross. This first project is a large-scale collaboration between major and emerging Dutch metal artists in support of the Red Cross, in occasion of 3FM Serious Request 2014, a Dutch charity event that is organised every year by one of their biggest radio stations. Donations will bring help to victims of sexual violence in conflict territories. A video preview is available below.
