Massacre - Reveal New Album Cover And Release Date

Legendary Florida death metallers Massacre will release their long-awaited comeback album, Back From Beyond, on March 24th in Europe and April 1st in North America via Century Media Records. Massacre are returning to the roots of their early 90's trademark sound, the album was recorded and mixed by Tim Vazquez of CGM Studios, Florida, and features original members Rick Rozz (guitars, ex-Mantas/Death), Terry Butler (bass, Obituary, ex-Death / Six Feet Under) as well as Ed Webb (vocals, ex-Diabolic / Eulogy) and Mike Mazzonetto (drums, ex-Pain Principle).

Narnia - Are Back

The Swedish neoclassical power metal band Narnia announced they were calling it quits in 2010 but there is good news for the fans because they are back! Their praised album Long Live The King celebrates fifteen years this year. This anniversary will be celebrated with live shows and a deluxe reissue of the album on CD and limited edition vinyl.

Tesla - To Enter The Studio

California hard rockers Tesla will enter the studio on Monday, February 3rd to record eight or nine new songs, to be included on the band's forthcoming album. Right now, the band is going through each song, working on all the details of the parts, including the tempos. The rehearsals for the new album are underway. Stay tuned for more details.

Slayer - Remember Jeff Hanneman On His Birthday

Jeff Hanneman's death is still fresh in our memories. The legendary guitarist would have been 50 today and of course Slayer has paid a homage to him on this day. The band released a message talking about his influence and the mark he left in metal for years to come. His legacy will live on. RIP.

Swedish symphonic metal masters Therion have shared a sneak peek of their upcoming new DVD Adulruna Rediviva And Beyond. The trailer is available to watch right here now. Adulruna Rediviva And Beyond, a double live DVD plus bonus DVD, limited edition digipak, will be released on February 28th, 2014 via Nuclear Blast. This package will include two shows that were recorded live in Atlanta in 2011 and in Budapest in 2007 and additional bonus material. Check out the trailer and cover.

Metallica - Win Award For Best 3D Documentary

Recently, guitarist Kirk Hammett admitted he was disappointed that Metallica Through The Never didn't do better, but Metallica's IMAX 3D concert film won the Best 3D Documentary award at the International 3D & Advanced Imaging Society's fifth annual Creative Arts Awards. Lars Ulrich and Robert Trujillo were in attendance to receive the award.

Wolves In The Throne Room - More Details About New Album

American band Wolves In The Throne Room has recently revealed more about their upcoming full-length release. The new recordings from the atmospheric black metallers have been confirmed for a 2014 release and will have the title Celestite. Taking a different approach than their previous LPs, Celestite is a completely newly envisioned, parallel-universe version of Celestial Lineage. The upcoming release will also mark another new venture for the duo; the inaugural release on their own new label, Diadem Records.

Shattered Hope - Eugenia Leaves The Band, New Album Update

Shattered Hope have some sad news to announce: Keyboardist Eugenia is not a member of the band anymore. In terms of good news, for a start, the Greek death/doom metallers' upcoming album is called Waters Of Lethe. On March 16th, at An Club in Athens, Greece, the band will support German headliners Ahab and present the new album for the first time. The new opus is mixed and mastered and more info will follow soon, such as the release date.
