Vicious Rumors - New Lineup Announced

Heavy metallers Vicious Rumors have started a new chapter and welcomed new band members Nick Holleman on lead vocals, Tilen Hudrap on bass and Bob Capka back on guitar. Original members guitar player Geoff Thorpe and drummer Larry Howe are proud to officially announce that this new line-up has already recorded a new live album, Live You To Death 2: The American Punishment, which SPV/Steamhammer will release in early 2014.

Savage - Live Album On The Way

New Wave Of British heavy metal band Savage will perform live on the 1st of February 2014 at The Old Library, Mansfield. The show will be recorded and released as Live N Lethal, the band's first live album. The Old Library show promises to be very special, as the band will play all the tracks from their debut album Loose 'N' Lethal as well as some newer material.

Pain Of Salvation - Daniel Gildenlöw Contracts Infection

This is worrying. Pain Of Salvation's mastermind Daniel Gildenlöw has recently contracted a streptococcal infection (some nasty flesh eating bacteria) and has been urgently hospitalized. Daniel will therefore not be participating on the upcoming Transatlantic US tour but that is the least of his worries right now. More importantly, the guitarist/singer is recovering well after surgery and antibiotics. Hopefully, he can leave the hospital in a few weeks and make a full recovery.

The Exploited - Sign To Nuclear Blast, New Album This Year

Scottish punk legends The Exploited have announced that they have signed a worldwide contract with Nuclear Blast, which is home to some of the biggest names in metal and hardcore music. Although no date has been confirmed yet, the band and label have promised that a new The Exploited album will see the light of the day this year (in autumn 2014), making it their first new release since 2003's Fuck The System.
