Necrophobic - New Single Out In August

Swedish death metallers Necrophobic's long awaited new album is finally in sight as their seventh full-length entitled Womb Of Lilithu will hit the stores on October 25th in Europe and October 29th in North America via Season Of Mist. To help you wait, a digital single of the new song "Splendour Nigri Solis", taken from the forthcoming album will be released exclusively through Spotify on August 19th in Europe (September 3rd in North America). Abiotic - Announce New Drummer

South Florida's Abiotic have a busy summer touring schedule ahead, beginning with an opening slot on The Summer Slaughter Tour in Lake Buena Vista, FL before meeting up with Wretched, Allegaeon, and Rivers Of Nihil for tour dates throughout August. Joining the band as their new drummer will be Aaron Stechauner, who has come in to replace Andres Hurtado.

Septicflesh - 'Ophidian Wheel' To Be Reissued

After the reissues of Septicflesh's classic first two albums Mystic Places Of Dawn (originally out in 1994) and Esoptron (1995), Season Of Mist will release a newly remastered version of the symphonic metallers' 1997 opus Ophidian Wheel. You can expect it to drop next October.

Inquisition - Share New Album Title

It has been three years since Inquisition released their last offering Ominous Doctrines Of The Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm to the masses but when the band signed with Season Of Mist last year, it was clear that their new album was in the works. Now it's official: the group named their forthcoming album Obscure Verses For The Multiverse. The black metal duo sixth full-length has been scheduled for release on October 25th in Europe (October 29th in North America).

Crystal Viper - New Album Title And Release Date Revealed

The new Crystal Viper album will be titled Possession and will be released on Friday 13th in December 2013 via AFM Records, vocalist Marta "Leather Wych" Gabriel revealed. The concept effort will be available as CD, limited edition LP and digital download. The CD and LP editions will include alternate bonus tracks. The new opus follows Crimen Excepta released in April last year. Prepare for a new heavy metal attack from Crystal Viper coming later this year.

Soulfly - New Album Title, Tracklist, Release Date

Max Cavalera's brainchild Soulfly has finally confirmed officially that their new album is indeed titled Savages. But there is a lot more. The album will came out on October 4th, 2013 via Nuclear Blast. The list of guest appearances on the album includes vocals by bass player Tony Campos, Max Cavalera's son Igor Cavalera (Lody Kong), Clutch's Neil Fallon, Napalm Death's Mitch Harris and Jamie Hanks of I Declare War fame. The album's tracklist can also be seen below.

DevilDriver - Announce Co-Headlining Tour With Trivium

Monster Magnet - New Album, New Song Online, N. American Tour

Monster Magnet are back and have big plans for this year. The stoner group is set to make their return with a new album titled Last Patrol due out on October 15th in North America and October 18th in Europe via Napalm Records. Obliteration - Sign To Relapse Records In North America

Norway's death metal warriors Obliteration have signed a deal with Relapse Records in North America. The band has released one EP (Total Fucking Obliteration - 2005) and two full-lengths (Perpetual Decay - 2007, Nekropsalms - 2009) so far. Obliteration also recently finished recording their new album Black Death Horizon at their home studio in Kolbotn, Norway which will be released later this year by Relapse in North America and Indie Recordings in the rest of the world. This means that you will finally get to hear new material from them.

Blaze Bayley - To Release Compilation With Two New Songs

Blaze Bayley is gearing up for the release of his new compilation that will be entitled Soundtracks Of My Life. The compilation will feature 30 songs of the singer's career and two new songs. The set will also come with a 28 page booklet and slipcase with artwork by Andreas Sandberg who also did the artwork for The King Of Metal. The release date is set for the 31st of October, 2013 but pre-orders will be available on the 4th of August.

Stryper - Set New Album Release Date

Heavy metallers Stryper have revealed that they will release their new studio album No More Hell To Pay on November 1st via Frontiers Records. The new release will include a cover version of "Jesus Is Just Alright", a gospel song written by Arthur Reid Reynolds. And while there is still some time for the release, the band says that this is the album they needed to make as a follow-up to To Hell With The Devil.

Vallenfyre - Writing New Material

The follow-up to Vallenfyre's debut album A Fragile King is in the works. If you were hoping for some more death metal from the British band, you got it because they are in writing mode. Vallenfyre has even revealed some tentative song titles to whet your appetite. The band is hoping to record the new album later this year and is currently looking at where they want to record it and with whom. The intention is to make it "dirtier than their debut".
