Candlelight Records today confirms June 5 as the North American release date for Fear Factory's new album, The Industrialist. Produced by the band with Rhys Fulber (Front Line Assembly), the album was mixed by Greg Reely (Paradise Lost/Skinny Puppy/Machine Head). It features additional tracking by Logan Mader (Gojira/Divine Heresy/Five Finger Death Punch) and artwork by Anthony Clarkson (Devin Townsend).

They will embark on a US tour, which is set to begin in San Antonio on May 1st and the band will be joined by Shadows Fall, The Browning, The Devastated, and Legacy Of Disorder. US industrial metallers Ministry have announced a series of European summer shows in support of their upcoming new release Relapse. Ministry's touring line-up includes Al Jourgensen (frontman/vox/guitars), Mike Scaccia (Ministry/Rigor Mortis) guitars, Casey Orr (Rigor Mortis) bass, John Bechdel (Ministry/Killing Joke/Fear Factory) keyboards, Aaron Rossi (Ministry/RevCo) drums and Sin Quirin (Ministry/RevCo) guitars. Soulfly's bassist Tony Campos is not performing due to scheduling conflicts.

US metallers Devildriver are already in the process of writing their sixth album, according to guitarist Jeff Kendrick, who issued the following update on his personal twitter account: "Mike Spreitzer (guitar), John Boecklin (drums) and myself have begun the process of writing the 6th Devildriver album! Excited to get going!"

The new album will be the follow-up to 2011's Beast.

Portuguese metallers Moonspell have revealed the cover art of their forthcoming album.

The band commented: "An intricate, marvellous and symbolic creation by Seth Siro Anton, the Greek artist who collaborated with the band on Night Eternal. The fourth edition of the Sonisphere festival in Spain will return to Getafe with Metallica as headliners, where they will play the Black Album in its entirety. Joining them will be Soundgarden, Slayer, Within Temptation, Mastodon, Children Of Bodom, Kyuss, Gojira, Clutch, Orange Goblin, Skindred, Ghost, Sister and Vita Imana, with more names still to be announced. The festival will take place through May 25th-26th and feature three stages and thirty artists. Tickets go on sale on January 31st.
