With the critically acclaimed debut Funerals From The Astral Sphere in 2011, the Austrialian one-man band Midnight Odyssey can finally reveal the details for the upcoming 140 minutes long album Shards Of Silver Fade, due out June 8th through I, Voidhanger Records. Released as a digipack, with a 28 page booklet, Shards Of Silver Fade will be co-released with Swedish label Nordvis in a vinyl boxset later this year.

Skraeckoedlan - New Album Announced, Single Preview Streaming

Swedish psychedelic metallers Skraeckoedlan are thrilled to announce the release of the band's second full-length, Sagor ("Stories"), due out June 10th through In Flames frontman Anders Fridén's label Razzia Notes. With 20 years and 4 full-length albums on its shoulders, the French black metal duo Celestia are pulling back to the shadows to rest. The band's final album, Apparitia Sumptuous Spectre, is due out by the end of summer through Apparitia Recordings. Though the CD version is scheduled for June and the vinyl version is scheduled for September, Apparitia Sumptuous Spectre can be streamed in full and purchased as a digital download through the label's Bandcamp page here. Doom - Three Dead And Twelve Injuried In Building Collapse

During a concert in Santiago, Chile on April 16th, featuring legendary crust punk band Doom, the venue building collapsed. The building collapsed due to the capacity was exceeded by about 50 people. Three people, identified as Daniel Isaías Moraga, 24, Gastón Eduardo Angladetti, 25, and Fabián González, 22, lost their lives and twelve people, whereas seven of them are critically injured, was sent to hospital.

Twisted Sister - Drummer Deceased At 55

Long-time drummer Anthony Jude "A.J." Pero, of legendary heavy metal band Twisted Sister, passed away at the age of 55. Pero was a member of Twisted Sister from 1982 to 1986, from 1997 to 1998, and again from 2003 until his death. Pero performed on Adrenaline Mob's last two albums and recently joined Four By Fate, also featuring former Frehley's Comet members Tod Howarth and John Regan.
