Faithful Darkness - Keyboardist Out Of The Band

This was recently posted on the official Faithful Darkness website:

"It is with great sadness we must announce that Andrea is no longer a part of Faithful Darkness. Duo to personal and professional reasons FD and Andrea must go separate ways. We wish her the best of luck in the future. This doesn't effect the gig at The Tivoli.

But one thing leads to another and this means that Faithful Darkness is in the need of a new keyboard player. If YOU think that you would be the new perfect FD keyboard player, please send a E-mail to Johan faithfuldarkness com. Write a couple of lines about yourshelf, what your exerience are and why you should be perfect for Faithful!

We have a demo version of the song "Black Mirrors Reflection" at our MySpace."

Darkane - New Singer Announced

The following message was posted on Darkane's official website:

"Darkane would like to welcome Jens Broman as the new vocalist in Darkane.

Jens will take over the vocal duties after Andreas Sydow left the band in August, and Jens has recently been seen on the vocal spot in Constucdead and The Defaced (he will continue to sing in both bands). Jens grew up in Glumslöv south of Helsingborg (as a good friend of Björn Strid from Soilwork), but now lives in Stockholm. His live debut with Darkane will take place in three weeks at the Progpower Scandinavia festival in Copenhagen, Denmark (November 10th). Darkane has been rehearsing hard lately and are very excited to work together with Jens. He has a huge vocal diversity and we are pretty sure that fans of Darkane won´t be disapointed.

We would like to thank all the people that showed their interest in joining Darkane as a vocalist. We whish you all the success in the future. However, we had our interest set on Jens at a very early stage.

As you might know our studio "Not quite studio" was flooded a month back. We are working hard on finding another location to build our new studio in and start recording the new album. We are very positive that this will happen in the near future.

The other guys in Darkane would also like to congratulate Peter and Erika for getting engaged a few weeks back."

The album features six (mostly lengthy) tracks, and is the band's most ambitious and cohesive work to date. Much of it was debuted last year on tour to a rapturous response from fans.

The lyrical content of the song-cycle on the album is a 21st century cocktail of MTV, sex, prescription drugs, video games, the internet, terminal boredom, and subsequent escape."

Bruce Dickinson - Barely Avoids The Aero Grand Prix Plane Crash

The singer of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden has a well-known interest in flying. Bruce Dickinson is an experienced pilot and he has flewn fans between different cities in big aircrafts.

At the competition Aero Grand Prix at Malta, the organizers had hired Dickinson to have his name on the posters. His mission was to comment the races when they were in progress in his own two-seated plane. Afterwards he was supposed to "spend some time with the fans", as the organizers have written on the homepage of the competition.

But instead of a spectacular show, Bruce Dickinson had to witness a tradegy when Eddie Goggins and Gabor Vargas collided with their planes. "His plane was just behind, he couldn't have been more than 50 meters away", says Matthew Mirabelli.

Bruce Dickinson wasn't hurt, despite the short distance to the accident.

Savage Circus - Thomas Nack Replaces Thomen Stauch

The band has posted theese following messages on their official website:

Thomen Stauch: July 4th

Dear Savage Circus fans, friends and business partners,

Once again I unfortunately have to surprise you all with really sad news!

Due to ongoing serious private problems in the past months my psychological and physical constitution is completely broken and makes me unable to play the upcoming shows planned for this year! I know you all have been waiting a long time already to see Savage Circus live for the first time and I have been really curious to meet you all again as well, but there is just nothing I can do to change this situation

The doctors are convinced, that a long-term rest along with several psychological and physical treatments for the next months is the only way to make me feel better. After fighting this reality for a longer time I am ready now to take this road. It is the only way to get back on my feet. My entire body is totally power-drained and I am almost unable to concentrate on anything. Furthermore I am suffering from a chronic tonsillitis for almost 10 weeks by now which even with antibiotics is not getting better. According to the docs it seems that all is based on my stressed body and mind, which do not get a recovery if I go on like this. So I will take this advice and will give my body and soul a break to regain my powers and charge up my battery for the upcoming Savage Circus production in 2007.

Please understand that I cannot give you any information about the nature of my private problems since they should stay private. I am not exaggerating in saying, having still some power left in me is already a miracle under this circumstances. I hope you all do understand this serious situation. It breaks my heart to post this message, but I see no alternative.

But there also is some good news: all shows will happen as planned! For good luck Piet could manage to hire Thomas Nack once more for the upcoming gigs, so the shows will happen for sure and with a more than worthy stand-in for me! So don't be sad, friends! Kick ass, as Piet, Thomas, Jens, Emil will do as well! Make every show a big party for me and have fun! This will give me the strength to go through all this. Right now I am not in the position of giving. This time I need you and your support. I know that none of you will let me down and this makes me feel better already.

I truly hope to see you all again soon!

Love and respect,
Thomen

The band: July 4th
