Fields Of The Nephilim - Explain Eurorock Festival Cancellation

Fields Of The Nephilim were supposed to have performed in Belgium this weekend at the Eurorock festival but the British band ended up cancelling its Eurorock appearance last minute. According to the band's management, the band was not paid, no catering was provided and the equipment was not on site and they blame the festival organizers for the situation.

Full Terror Assault 2015 - Lineup Finalized

The last acts have been announced for the upcoming Full Terror Assault 2015 festival in the United States. The open air festival is slated to take place September 10th, 11th, and 12th at Cave-In-Rock in Hardin County, Illinois. Revocation, Cannabis Corpse, Valient Thorr, Noisem and more round out the final line-up for the first annual Full Terror Assault. Fear Factory and Obituary are the big headliners.

District 97 - Prepare To Release New Album

Laser's Edge is preparing for the late June release of the third album from Chicago-based quintet, District 97, titled In Vaults. The new album from the proggers is coming and the group will unveil their third studio full-length recording this Summer. The cover art by Björn Gooßes and the album's tracklist have been unveiled. We have good news for Whispered fans. The Finns new album is already being forged after they released Shogunate Macabre just last year. The guitar recordings for the new album are done already as well as drums. The bass recordings are now in motion and the band plans to release the album this year.

Today is a big day for Lamb Of God. The American thrashers started the day with a bang and just announced their new label, new album and a new song to go with it. Go big or go home! Their new label is Nuclear Blast Entertainment, in case you are wondering. They will release their anticipated seventh full-length album, VII: Sturm Und Drang, this July via Nuclear Blast Entertainment with whom the band signed a record deal for all territories outside of North America. Iron Maiden - Bruce Dickinson Now Cancer Free

While this day is overshadowed by the death of legendary guitarist/singer B.B. King, there is good news today as well. The Iron Maiden camp is pleased to announce that the doctors have given Bruce Dickinson the all-clear after his cancer treatments. He underwent chemotherapy and radiology to treat a cancerous tumor at the back of his tongue. Now the frontman can't wait to get back in business. However, the band will not be touring or playing any shows until next year, focusing instead on putting the finishing touches to the new Iron Maiden studio album.

Ahab - New Album Update

Ahab fans are probably eager to hear the follow-up to 2012's The Giant and it is coming. The funeral doom metal band has been recording their new album and while many details are still under wraps, they have confirmed a release for around August/September 2015. Besides that, the band has also shared the pencil scribble of the album's cover which is being created by Sebastian Jerke. Bear in mind that it is still a work in progress.

Psycroptic - To Tour North America

Australian technical death metal pioneers Psycroptic will return to North America for a headlining tour this summer and they are taking with them Unique Leader acts Arkaik, Ovid's Withering and The Kennedy Veil. The Bloodletting North America tour will make its start on July 8th in Los Angeles and continue throughout the month before its final stop in Phoenix on August 1st. During the tour, Psycroptic will present music from their new, self-titled release.

Autolatry - Disband

Sadly, progressive black metallers Autolatry have announced their disbandment. Bassist/guitarist Dave Kaminsky himself has revealed over the band's Facebook page that it is the end for the Mansfield group. They leave behind one EP, one split and two albums, Native being their latest. Dave Kaminsky will release new music under a different name from now on.
