Lindemann - Share Debut Album Configurations And Snippet

Lindemann, the new band of vocalist Till Lindemann of German industrial metallers Rammstein and Swedish producer and multi-instrumentalist Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain), has shared more details about their debut album Skills In Pills. The band's debut release is coming out on June 23rd via Warner Bros. The band has also revealed the two covers that will grace the album. Furthermore, you can whet your appetite by listening to a snippet of a new song to build the anticipation.

Fear Factory - Bassist Tony Campos Joins, Leaves Soulfly

Fear Factory welcomes a new bassist. Tony Campos will be joining the band and leaving his gig with Soulfly. Campos is also known as the former bass guitarist of industrial metal band Static-X, Ministry and Prong. His new focus will now be Fear Factory, who are working a new album. His first show with the industrial metallers will be at Amnesia Rock Fest on June 20th.

Video games and metal collide! The Karmaflow The Rock Opera Videogame features a large set of renowned metal musicians and has released their Original Soundtrack which includes tracks featured in the game. The symphonic rock and metal tracks can be heard via Bandcamp. They are performed by big names within the metal community like Simone Simons and Mark Jansen from Epica, Alissa White-Glutz from Arch Enemy, Tony Kakko from Sonata Arctica, Dani Filth from Cradle Of Filth, among many others, with the accompaniment of the Metropole Orkest, an orchestra based in The Netherlands.

And the new (old) Metal Church singer is... Mike Howe! That's right. After Ronny Munroe left at the end of last year, the announcement of the new frontman took a while but it finally happens now. Mike Howe originally joined Metal Church in the late 80's and released 3 albums with the band: The Human Factor, Blessing In Disguise and Hanging In The Balance.

Cruachan - Involved In Legal Battle With Debauchery

Here is another legal battle raging on courtesy of Debauchery or more like Cruachan vs.Debauchery. The German death metal band, Debauchery, via their mainman Thomas "The Bloodbeast" Gurrath claimed he has copyright for the two words 'Blood God' in the territory of Germany. And Cruachan's last album is titled Blood For The Blood God, so that was the problem. The matter was eventually settled with Trollzorn but the record label can no longer sell merchandise in Germany with the word 'Blood God', among other things. Naturally, Cruachan are not happy about it.

Opeth - Two U.S. 25th Anniversary Shows Announced

Opeth are also taking their 25th anniversary tour to the United States! Even though the Swedes have only announced two shows so far in New York and Los Angeles, at least it's something! These shows in October will also feature two special sets, including the album Ghost Reveries performed in its entirety (for its 10th anniversary) plus songs spanning their entire 25-year history.

Haken - Begin Working On New Album

The ever-evolving progressive metallers Haken are back at work on new music! The London-based group were recently announced as Between The Buried And Me guests on their European tour later this year as main support, and have also started work on their forthcoming new album. Last year, the band released the EP Restoration which featured reworked tracks from their 2008 demo Enter The 5th Dimension. Now it's time to dedicate their time and energy to the follow-up to The Mountain.
