Rwake - New Album Cover Art Unveiled
Rest, the new forthcoming album of US sludge doom metallers Rwake will be released in North America on September 27th through Relapse Records. The cover artwork can be seen below.
The follow-up to 2007's Voices Of Omens was recorded at Engine Studios in Chicago, Illinois with noted engineer Sanford Parker. Rest will be released on CD, as a digital download and LP pressed on olive green and 180-gram black vinyl.
Rwake's 2002 release Hell Is A Door To The Sun was reissued back in March. The long-out-of-print album was remixed by Sanford Parker, remastered, and repackaged to include new artwork, photography, and liner notes from the band.
Rwake has confirmed a hometown show at Downtown Music Hall in Little Rock, Arkansas for later this month. Additional tour plans will be announced soon.
