Ulg, the fifth album by the Estonian folk metal act Metsatöll will be released by Spinefarm Records on the 1st of November 2011. The tracklist consists of eleven new and energetic songs. The first impression of them can be acquired by listening to the radio single "Kivine maa."

The album has been recorded in its entirety amidst the woods of South-Estonia away from city life and daily matters. The album will be released as CD, limited edition CD and also as gramophone record.

The cover art features once again the works of Jüri Arrak. This time the painting from 1999 called "Mythological Composition" has been used.

You can listen to the single "Kivine maa" below. The album is available for pre-sale on the band's webpage.

Meh, their music hasn't been fun to listen to since Hiekoda. They take themselves way too seriously now.
