Trees Of Eternity - Announce Bassist For New Album
Trees Of Eternity have revealed another piece of the puzzle of their debut album. Mattias "The Crypt" Norrman recorded the bass parts for their first full-length. Norrman, currently in October Tide, also played in Katatonia until 2009.
The band explained: "So indeed, we are happy to announce that our bass player is Mattias "The Crypt" Norrman, perhaps best known for his work with Katatonia (1999-2009), but you may also know him from October Tide or various other projects past and present.
"Today was the second and final day of bass recordings, and Mattias really did an amazing job, adding his personal touch to the songs while tapping perfectly into the Trees Of Eternity sound. We couldn't be more satisfied with the way this album is progressing, and all the talented people involved!"
Mattias joins Fredrik "North" Norrman (ex-Katatonia, October Tide) who will be the second guitarist on the album, Kai Hahto (Wintersun, Swallow The Sun) recorded the drums, and Mick Moss of Antimatter did guest vocals.
