Kamelot - Premiere New Music Video

Symphonic metallers Kamelot just returned from some European sold out shows and they are now ready to unleash their brand new music video for the track "My Therapy" which you might recognize from their latest record, Haven. According to the band, this video is intended to shine a spotlight on social anxiety that affects up to 20% of adults worldwide. See how the video turned out below.

Vocalist Tommy Karevik adds: "The original idea of the song was based on experiments done years ago on children where they would be clinically taken care of, but never held, loved or nurtured. The outcome was disastrous and proves that in this sometimes complicated world spinning faster and faster, the very foundation of our health and well being really rests upon something very simple and uncomplicated? The human touch..."

Upcoming shows:

23.05.16 - JPN - Tokyo / Liquidroom
25.05.16 - JPN - Nagoya / Club Quattro
26.05.16 - JPN - Osaka / Umeda Club Quattro

Not bad choice of subject matter. Too bad about the song.

Just a reminder of how disappointing this album was. A few decent songs, but a mighty fall from where this band was.

You could even say it was a pendulous fall!

I like it Both the song and the video. Haven is a good album as well.

I feel like I'm missing out on something. The video is well-produced, the song itself isn't all that disasterous, but I just don't get that "Kamelot" vibe. Then again, I haven't gotten that vibe since 2011 or so.

For anyone who misses "old" Kamelot, listen to Sunburst's Fragments Of Creation.

I have to disrupt you there; Vasilis, as similar as he is in vocal pattern to Khan, could not immitate that what-you-call "old" Kamelot sound neither with Black Fate, Innosense, The Chronicles Project nor Sunburst. They are fair attempts, much better than as if Tommy Karevik did it himself for that matter, but it's not the same.
