Wolfchant - Guitarist Gorthrim Dies
German pagan folk metallers Wolfchant are mourning as they have announced that their guitarist Eddy "Gorthrim" Groß has died. He was in the band for two years. Sadly, Eddy lost his battle with lung cancer.
The band wrote: "Dear Wolfchant fans, today we have very sad news. Our friend and guitarist Eddy 'Gorthrim' Groß lost his fight against lung cancer yesterday which he fought for one and a half year. Our condolences are with his parents, his girlfriend and his family & friends. It's nearly impossible to express how shocked and sad we are. Eddy has fought brave and without complaining 'til the end and also shared the stage with us 4 weeks ago. Eddy, we will never forget you! Your friends and bandmates. Skaahl, Lokhi, Nortwin, Sertorius & Lug - RIP"

Band goes on 3 news are posted Wolfchant 2 February · Hey Friends, first of all we want to wish you a happy and healthy new year 2020. Here is a first Update regarding our plans in 2020. At the moment we are about to finish the final recordings for our next record. So far we are very satisfied with the songs and can't wait to share them with you! Unfortunately this will take some time... Furthermore we want to inform you about the actual line-up and therefore want to introduce our new bandmembers. In April we will return to the stage.
