Actually I'm not waiting for anything because I haven't checked which bands will release their new CD's in year 2009; even more - I don't care about it either. I'm glad MS is such a news portal, so I can see which bands have released their newest albums. It also would be ridiculous to vote for something right now.

There weren't enough likely variants on the poll anyway.

Well fair enough, but its equally annoying that people still create threads about how awesome Metallica is and still the best band in the universe but you dont see me hounding the forum trying to undermine them every chance I get.

You have to cut everyone some slack....some of the people on this forum, me included, have been waiting in angst for this album for 2 years then 3 and now almost 5 years. So be prepared...the longer this album is postponed the more people are gonna bring it up

Nope if it's good it's good no matter how crap their other releases were. And like I said it will never bee worse than the last GnR or even the latest Metallica. I am sure that even though I might dislike the new Wintersun I will still think it kicks Death Magnetic's ass all over the place.

I meant I'd rather hear music from an artist who's not yet completely dried up for ideas.
I don't consider Jari to be any Christ Child, but hearing another whisper-core deathmess from Agalloch or another steaming pile of a release from the drowning modern Candlemass wouldn't do anybody's ears any good.
Wintersun hate is understandable, but then again, so is homosexuality (to some).

New Masterplan album, should be out before summer. That DiMeo guy left the band, and I'm very eager to find out who the new singer is.

I had to vote for Maiden, I just cant wait for it!!! Another would be the new Dream Theater album coming out!!!

I'm looking forward to hearing these two albums as well.

Another album i look forward to is Europe's, due in September. If it's gonna sound like their previous one, Secret Society (2006), then I'll definitely get it. Now I can go hide...

The new Spawn of Possession album is the one I'm looking forward to hearing most. Anything with Erlend Casperson is going to be amazing but you add in the fact they're going to also have the old vocalist of Psycroptic and the lead guitar player from Obscura and you know its going to be something special. Also the new Unexpect is something I really would like to hear if they release it this year.

The dude was just the frontman from Ensiferum and wanted to make a side proyect... So what? Is that it? Where is the "wow" effect that everyone gets except you and me?
