Whats last.fm do? What do you get from being a member? I cant view it due to the damn school block!

It's basically a 'community' based on music tastes. Basically it lets you log what you listen to and find similar bands, people who listen to similar music and the like.

Recently i have upgraded my winamp to ver. 5.5 but seems that LAst.Fm only knows the first song i played , they other doesn't seem to be reconized

One thing that i tried to do was scrobbling the musics from my ipod to last.fm, but it doesn't work!

Is upgrading to 5.5 even worth it? It seems like every subsequent version of software today only differs from the previous one by an increased number of useless..."features" and..."extras".

i was on here for a few years back when lastFM and Audioscrobbler were two seperate entities. it was good fun but did my head in having to change song details for new ones i got. otherwise i'd end up with some crap like "Track 7" instead of the song name! might have another go. i'm still on there somewhere... http://www.last.fm/user/LittleAcorn/

If you haven't done it yet, you can do it by going to Settings -> Account -> "Clear listening data"

Everything you see on my profile is streamed. I still have not downloaded the software, but I might do it soon.

Edit: WHAT THE FUCK?!?! I just checked my last.fm profile and it said I listened to 7 songs by this dude called "Mbrother". I have no clue who that is....I think one of my roommates may have used my computer. >:(

Edit 2: Now it's not letting me stream anything. I click on a song that says "full track", but it turns out to only be a 30 second clip. If this shit keeps on happening then I might delete my account.
