Black Sabbath - Announce The End Farewell Tour

Black Sabbath have surprised fans today by announcing their farewell tour. The end is near, my friend. Frontman Ozzy Osbourne had revealed last year that there would be a farewell tour and album from the legendary band. At least the tour part has now been confirmed. Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler will close the final chapter in the final volume of the incredible Black Sabbath story. The band's farewell tour begins on January 20th, 2016 and it promises to surpass all previous tours with their most mesmerizing production ever. See the dates announced so far!

Cauldron - New Album On The Way

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Cauldron has signed with The End Records to release their long-awaited fourth studio album, titled In Ruin. The follow-up to Tomorrow's Lost is upon us. For the new album, the trio returned to the Lincoln County Social Club recording studio in Toronto, where they recorded two of their previous albums, including Burning Fortune (2011) and Tomorrow's Lost (2012).

Shaolin Death Squad - Announce New EP

Experimental metallers Shaolin Death Squad have announced the name of their long-awaited upcoming EP: As You Become Us. This five-piece EP will be the first record the band has produced since 2010's greatly-appreciated Five Deadly Venoms. The EP is set to be released via Shaolin Death Squad's long-time label, Do For It Records, and it was mastered by acclaimed producer Maor Appelbaum.

Turmion Kätilöt - Postpone Album Release, Give Fanciful Explanations

Finnish industrial band Turmion Kätilöt have had their new album, Diskovibrator, delayed by two weeks. The album was originally going to be released on the 11th of September but has been postponed until the 25th. Reasons for the delay include colorful incidents such as the drummer's dog eating the hard drive and one of the vocalists losing his falsetto voice (Turmion Kätilöt in fact mostly use low-pitched, gruff vocals). The real reason, according to the band's official Facebook page, is that the main vocalist, MC Raaka Pee, "got his second (not a joke) set of twins" which delayed the album's finishing process.

Vanden Plas - Announce 'Chronicles Of The Immortals - Netherworld II'

More Vanden Plas is always a good thing, right? And it's coming. The prog/power metallers are set to release the second chapter of the rock opera written in collaboration with famed German author Wolfgang Hohlbein. Chronicles Of The Immortals - Netherworld II will be out on Frontiers on November 6th. As Chronicles Of The Immortals - Netherworld, Path I ended, deliverance comes in the second half of the story, where the creative duo of Vanden Plas and Wolfgang Hohlbein has merged again. Autopsy - Announce New Releases

Autopsy have been prolific in terms of new releases in the last few years since they reformed and this year is no exception. The group is set to return with a double-bill of unbridled horror this year on Peaceville Records, including their latest new material since last year's acclaimed opus, Tourniquets, Hacksaws And Graves. Commencing with After The Cutting on November 13th, this is a special limited release containing an expansive book penned by Dennis Dread recounting the careers of the gore legends, featuring unseen photos and exclusive artwork, accompanied by four discs brimmed full of classics, new tracks and previously unheard rarities from the band's own archive. This will be followed by Skull Grinder, containing 7 new tracks (also featured on After The Cutting) and releasing on vinyl to coincide with this year's Black Friday on November 27th.

Angra - Premiere Video For 'Black Hearted Soul'

Angra have a new video out. They are showcasing "Black Hearted Soul" which is the third single taken from their most recent album, Secret Garden. The clip was directed by Drico Mello and the footage is taken from their May 2015 Japanese tour. The band's guitarist Kiko Loureiro now has a new gig in Megadeth. As for Angra, the band will celebrate their 25th anniversary next year and film a DVD for the occasion.

Sjodogg - New Album Postponed

Norwegians Sjodogg released their latest album Ode To Obscurantism five years ago. However, there is a new album coming albeit not as soon as it was expected. According to the black metallers, there has been a slight delay in the release of their new album, Som en Øks i Hodet. They are in the process of making some minor adjustments to the sound production and remastering the album at the hands of Kjetil Ottersen.

Psygnosis - New Video Released

Psygnosis has become an instrumental band since vocalist Yohan Oscar left the band last year. Cellist Raphaël Verguin has also been introduced to the band. Darkwater - Singer's New Band To Release Debut Album

This new all-start progressive metal band will release their debut album Exodus on October 30th in Europe and North America via Ulterium Records. Motörhead - Lemmy Stops Texas Show After Three Songs

It happened again. After their Utah show being stopped after a few songs, Motörhead's legendary frontman Lemmy Kilmister stopped the band's show in Austin, Texas last night again and admitted: "I can't do it." Motörhead had already cancelled their Riot Fest in Denver as well due to continued health issues of Lemmy Kilmister. At this point, it's fair to ask if it's healthy for Lemmy to even be playing live if he is not well. So far, things have not been going so well on their North American tour in support of Bad Magic.
