Ok now, this is what I call Brutal as Fuck and catchy as hell Metal. I'm on a rampage here dear readers; I'm finding one band after another, each band has always some incredible stuff to offer. Bound And Gagged is a Grindcore band with many "cool" things here and there, really Brutal Music, awesome structures, fucking breathtaking songwriting (I'll talk about this later), odd vocals, crazy Drumming and a really long etcetera.

About the songwriting, it's marvelous (as I already said), the riffing is catchy as hell, I mean, I was reading a magazine and the only thing that was navigating through my mind was that catchy as hell riff from "Bloody Chunks Of Menstrual Flow". There are a lot of breakdowns and cool scales in most songs, intermezzos with high-pitched bass-lines, some drum solos and crazy fillings all over the album. For example we have the first track, "Seven Bodies", this song is just awesome, 3 minutes of outstanding structures, bridges and crashes, a really catchy intro, and a lot of implausible breakdowns (and I mean a lot. 00:30, 00:34, 1:19 and the best one 2:00).

Now for the bad things, the vocal work, damn, this album was about to get a better grade if it wasn't for that annoying vocalist. The vocalizations just do not fit with the music; yes it is cool to do piggy squeals, yes my mom got scared, my dog peed, and my crazy neighbor called the cops; so what, the vocals are crap compared to the outstanding musical work, some distorted Growls would have been nicer you know? Not those "I'm raping a pig and masturbating a cow at the same time" shrieks. BUT, in the end, the music will make you forget about the awful vocals I promise.

Anyway back to the goodies, I'm actually impressed by the music; most tracks have bizarre fillings (intros, bizarre effects, tiny bass solos, etc.), again there is no guitar solos in this band, after all this is clear-cut Grindcore, what else do you want?, I mean, when you have a band doing catchy as fuck songs, tunes with the best pauses and breakdowns in the scene, solos turn into "useless forms" believe me.

Go now and buy this release, if you don't like it then you must be one of those "mommy, does this care-bear pajama makes me look fat?" guys. Another release that will make you throw-up your yummy burritos all over your couch, bed, or whatever (whoever) that is near you. So in the words of "Bound And Gagged" DON'T POUR SULFURIC ACID ON YOUR GENITALS.
