I like this list, though you should totally edit it to get all the links/pics working properly.

A lot of stuff here I really dug.

Dragged Into Sunlight is 2009, though. (as terrific as it is)

It's Roads to Judah, just for the record.

And you should check out Fell Voices - s/t (the 2011 one considering the list, but the 2009 s/t is amazing too).

Nope, cause it was originally release in another year. A rerelease or vinyl release is not a reason for us to put it in 2011, even though I LOVE the album and will be seeing the band live at Roadburn in April 2012

Tired to fix a bit of taggin'. It worked with Necros Christos but the problem why The Devin Townsend Band doesn't link up is cause you haveGhost and Deconstruction in there together. So. please split them them up so that they become two releases

No. The word "review" generally implies that it is some critique based on subjectivity. I prefer using the term "300 word shotgun-blasts of undeniable truth."

I'm trying to think of a clever name for what that could be called. The best I can muster is "theview" which is neither clever or amusing.

Looks much better. Now you just need the comma in Leviathan's latest and to change DT's Project to just "Devin Townsend".

Well that explains a lot then!

If something doesn't link it's either spelled incorrectly or not in the database.

Yes to each their own indeed. They blew my mind and atm are one of my fave bands so anytime I see lists like this and some of the bands mentioned are technically inclined I always mention Archspire because I think they are awesome and want to give them some free word of mouth advertising because I think those dudes deserve it. I can totally respect your disinclination to think of them as awesome like myself but if you consider yourself a fan of tech death at all I would highly recommend you take the time to listen to them a couple more times. I found that listening to them the first couple times (at least for me) was like watching Star Wars or LoTR or Avatar, the first several times I always noticed something new that I didn't catch the last time because of the sensory overload of all the incredible musicianship and effort that was put into each song; and because theres only 7 songs and they're all adequately sized the album doesn't suffer from being too much and too long (imo).

yeah i agree with you sir that those dudes seriously need some recognition and i agree that some music need a couple more spins ( or a couple thousand more ) to fully grasp the extent of the songs inside the album. I like a good amount of tech death stuff band but i won't consider myself as a tech death fans.. considering that technical death metal has become somewhat saturated and un-creative these days.

Thanks again for the suggestion sir. Appreciate it
