Death Walks With Me was so bland and uninspired I just assumed they called it quits. Hopefully this has a little more bite and originality to it, though expecting that from a melodeath band these days is a tall ask.

A bit softer in sound, ambient parts but sametime grows is still there, sortha nordic melanholic mdm charm as well. Seems they sing in finish now as in previous one as well.

One of the same as the previous ones after the break, so far away from diamonds like "Absence". Found some consolation in "Saatto" with Antti's characteristic vocals, but also in "Ajaton" and "Totuus" where melodic fragments of their past can be found.

Honestly, Noumena hasnt been the same since the female vocalist Hanna Leinonen left in 2007 after the 2006 album Anatomy of Life. Absence was TOP-tier and Anatomy of Life was pretty good. Hannas vocals were sublime. The replacement is not good.
