The symphonic powerhouse that is Haggard has marked listeners with their firs two albums, namely Awaking the Centuries [2000] and Eppur Si Muove [2004]. The long awaited successor has now been unveiled this month with Tales of Ithiria. In the continuation of their previous releases, their new offering varies little from the winning formula used by their main composer Asis Nasseri.

Their best album with a huge difference for me! Their original blending of the elements they are inspired of, in its best. Despite of the votes here, in other places it scores much higher so there are people that admit my opinion.
This IS a masyerpiece for the symphonic metal sound..

Beautiful album, somewhat overlooked. Not their best (that would clearly be the predecessor) but very consistent. Cant find a single weak song on here (though it would go without the cover track for me; then again I am not a huge fan of cover tracks in general). Highlights: title track and sleeping child.
