Boris - Flood

This album would be so much better if Part 1 wasn't such a pretentious piece of shit. From 2-4, I really enjoy how the album progresses until it gets noticeably heavy and concludes with an ending that gives the listener a satisfied exhale.

I agree the beginning is a little too much, it could have been 5 minutes long or something, but the rest is amazing imo

Boris knows no wrong, may their albums be short noise rock songs, hypnotic acid trips or long drone progressions they're all good. Yeah, fanboy is speaking but I don't think this album is an exception.

Hhahah I understand you, I really admire Boris too... Although I still agree with Dangerboner that Boris overdid the first part way too much for it's own good, but the rest is amazing. I'm currently waiting for my copy of Amplifier Worship to arrive, and I'm sure it will be an awesome trip

hahaha I've had Amplifier Worship for a while and listened to it a lot, but I can't remember pretty much anything about it because I'm usually way too fucked up All I remember is Huge and some cool happy part later on, but I seriously don't know how this sounds except that I love it.

Amplifier Worship is the only album like that for me

As for Flood, I need to listen to it again, but I bet it sounds better on speakers than headphones.

Yeah, and you can ignore or just do something else while listening to the first part. I agree that it's kind of annoying. It could have been 5-8 minutes shorter at least.

This album is just massive, their best imo. Feedbacker and Pink are also very good though
