Last time we checked in with KOLLAPS\E, the Swedes were struggling to forge their own identity due to similarities between their name and those of peers within the same sphere of music, as well as similarities between their music and the vast majority of other post-metal. Pre-release stream is up for this, definitely recommend. Their last one was pretty good but after three listens I think this one is better in pretty much every way. There’s some hardcore bits in there too that remind me of the last Death Engine, and you can feel the influences from Cult Of Luna and Breach that are pretty apparent. If that’s your thing you’ll like this one. Katarsis and Nattsvart are my favorite songs here but it’s a solid release all around.

Very good album this, crushing sound with lot's of powerful and intense builds-ups, kinda in the vein of Morne and Cult Of Luna I'd say, and probably one of the best in post-metal I've heard this year in fact.
