Dude. What the fuck. This is REALLY good. Unbelievably heavy guitar tone. Actually, it's quite reminiscent of NY hardcore acts, now that I look at the post by Bad English. An incredible edge to these sounds. Here's my Forgemaster write up: Tombs ditches the typical black metal sounds for a crushing death-doom experience reminiscent of Thou. One of my favorite songs: Granite Sky. The atmosphere is bleak and cavernous. The riffs are like pillars of stone falling down on your frail body. Some surprises include clean, chanted vocals and the absolutely filthy riffs that come out of nowhere. Dissonant death-doom at its very finest.
