Sounds more like electro rock than progressive metal to me, so not exactly something I'm an expert in, but a very good album indeed!

I meant that the general sound of this album isn't that heavy, riffs and guitar approach seems more rock than metal (beware, it isn't something bad!). And the atmosphere created reminds my of some electronic/industrial kind of music (but I'm pretty ignorant about it, so I could be wrong), then of course it is Prog (with capital "P"), I forgot to add it. ;-)

What a great album this is. A journey, fit for different moods. Might be fav. OSI album followed by "Blood".

I don't go ape for prog very often, but I love this album to death. Just all-around good prog metal with a very slight electronic edge, and it does a great job of demonstrating the post-9/11 and War on Terrorism paranoia that was commonplace at the time.

This is A-tier prog metal, man. The musicianship is great, but it's not just superficial technicality, there's lots of different moods and they flow effortlessly from one another. There were times when I just couldn't tell what direction the music would take and felt positively surprised when something new and unexpected came up. And it was all good. edit. And of course it's Sean Malone playing the bass, the man was genius.

Just tossed this on in the office. Really nice textures and layering. The bass work is really good. Clean and warm production. Very pleasant all around. I actually get quite a lot of Tool vibes from this.
