Sorry for the spam, just like to spread the word of good prog

Edit: just put them in two categories of accessibility, the first being easier

Not all of these are prog. The list is kind of deceptive that way. Otherwise, great selections!

Limit the list to progressive metal/rock only and limit the amount of albums/band to 2 or 3 at most and you might end up with a decent list. Now the list now is terrible, as it simply seems like a compilation of albums by bands the list creator likes.

Followed your instructions, they actually were nagging me too. Though couldn't do much about Opeth, I can truly say almost every album counts as a favorite, yes, including Heritage.

Well thanks, but I can't see how you followed my instructions (I like how you worded it ) seeing as you still have quite a few cases of more than 3 albums/band.

I really love Step in Fluid's album and I'm glad to see it was included on this list! That album is still relatively unknown among progheads, and given the quality of that record, it's a real shame.

Hahaha, yeah I didn't - to the word - mostly because bands like Dream Theater, Opeth, Rush and King Crimson have made quite the standards for me - it's extremely difficult to pick a given three from such bands. They are bands with multiple eras that sound like something new (disregarding whatever is in the present), so I guess if it relieves you, you can consider them different bands.

One of the more underground masterpieces of experimental metal.

Nice list, a lot of great ones in there.
nice to see some 70s prog in there, too.
