Hey... Hey you.. Stop having bad taste in music. I find the production to be perfect, as is the whole album. Bands like this dont come that easy anymore.

Oh yeah, the opiate ep is quite good, but I find the full lengths all to be better. I imagine that its a bit too proggy for you (?), as you dont seem to be much into the genre from what I've seen.

I like prog in some forms. They may have prog tendencies but to me they just sound like boring alternative metal

Thats a shame then. Maybe you should try out Rishloo? They're basically like Tool, just a bit more grunge influenced I think. Generally a bit more modern sounding from what I recall. Could be more to your taste.

I think I've tried them actually. Can't remember if I liked them though, possibly did. I do tend to like Tool-esque bands more than Tool. Really like Karnivool, though I guess they only sound a little like Tool.

I couldn't get into this album much, I don't find it as enjoyable Lateralus Unfortunately.

Their best album, much better than Lateralus

My favourite of theirs, with Lateralus close behind. Third Eye has to be their best song.

At least 30 min too long. If you are going to make such long ass songs then you'd better make them engaging and interesting, goddamit. 'Third Eye' is definitely a highlight here and the best song. Pity that almost everything else isn't quite on the same level. These short intermissions were fun though. I just don't find this album mindblowing really. I'll try 'Lateralus' next, maybe I'll like it more.

Hahaha, yes. I'll give it another spin later. I am listening to Lateralus right now.

Edit- Lateralus is much better already on the first listen. But I'll definitely have to revisit these two and also check their other albums. Maybe Tool is a grower.
