Intro | New | Edge.. The playlists are just insane for music discovery. Just click on the two arrows on the right of a genre's name to access the details page of that genre and the playlists links.
Did you guys ever hear of everynoise ? A former SPotify employee built a whole website based on genres added to artists. One can navigate all genres, see the related genres, and the best is there are a few playlists for each genre
01. Blood And Thunder 02. I Am Ahab 03. Seabeast 04. Island 05. Iron Tusk 06. Megalodon 07. Naked Burn 08. Aqua Dementia 09. Hearts Alive 10. Joseph Merrick
Everything comes in due time... Here is finally the long-awaited follow-up to their great debut Remission, released back in 2002. Two long years of intensive touring across the USA (mainly) have obviously sharpened their thirst for songwriting and their will to devastate our poor mistreated eardrums. Let's kill the suspense right now: this new offering, Leviathan, is far better than the aforementioned Remission. More varied also.
I gave it ten because i couldnt take it out of my cd player for months after getting it .... and still love the whole album ... it just flows for me ....
I gave it a 9 because nothing is perfect but it certainly is close to being perfect
Really good album its obvious they put their efforts in it. Nice job Mastodon !
Blew me away in 2004, and still does it on regular basis. In my books their strongest, most accomplished album, having the perfect balance of finesse and raw power.

"Haloo? ...Mulla on sellainen tunne, ett' mä olen surmannut miehen."
No matter how many times I listen to this album, and it's masterpiece Blood and Thunder, I crave it more.
Mastodon truly are the Beatles of Heavy Metal.
Not only is this album totally epic, but the art for the case itself is absolutely spectacular. If you've only seen the picture shown above, and none of the art for the rest of the case--perhaps due to buying the album on mp3--you've done yourself a disservice. The entire case is gorgeous; a beautiful thing to own.
The more I listen to this, the more I enjoy it. I think this is one of those albums that is going to go down in my books as a total masterpiece; enjoyable to the last second.
Never imagined a metal band could write an album that perfectly encapsulates the chaos of a sinking ship, while also having suckh kickass and unique riffs.
Whoa - the guitar playing is absolutely insane! Not a big fan of the vocals though...
I'm not a big fan of Mastodon, but this my favourite album by them, their guitar work here is at it's best. A cool and unusual concept about Moby Dick too.
Very original Moby Dick concept album indeed! Unique guitar-work and insane drumming throughout create a truly entrancing experience! Along with beautiful cover artwork, this has all one could hope from a modern metal masterpiece
The only personal issue I have is that I don't like the vocals. They're pretty sub-par to my ears. But otherwise, I really enjoyed this music!
Best songs for me: Iron Tusk, Seabeast, Hearts Alive, Joseph Merrick
