Orange Goblin - Time Travelling Blues

Not too different from their other 90's releases, though there is less heaviness and more speed. A few weaker songs makes this album less necessary to have than their debut, yet 'The man who invented time' and 'Nuclear guru' make the purchase worthwhile.

I am going through the whole OG discography atm and I see a common thread here.
The older the albums get the less I like them.

I just like Blue Snow on this one and it would be one of the weaker songs on their 2010 to 2020 albums.

That's wild, especially a 5 for this record. But hey to each their own. At least OG has an absolutely great discog, a very consistent band.

Consistant in consistant getting better from album to album. Just the opposite to how Red Fang is doing it.

But joking aside. For the long time fans I gues this is a hot take for this is their best voted record here. I just had the time to get into their whole albums in the last weeks and the new records are harder and faster. The problem in total is, that all albums contain fillers. Some more, some less. I only voted one with a close 8/10 and that´s their latest. If more songs would sound like Sabbath Hex or Red Tide Rising OG would count to my absolute favorite bands.
