Desultory - Into Eternity

Great old school death metal with melody. i'd like it a bit more complex to say that this is a masterpiece...

Indeed a very underrated masterpiece ! Unfortunately this is their first, last and the only listenable album

Desultory is/ was ever a totally underrated band. One of the best swedish death metal bands, same quality like Entombed, Dismember or Unleashed. Especially this debut is a masterpiece in swedish death metal. Without any questions full 10 points.

It's unbelievable how overlooked this album is. It's easily one of the best death metal releases I've ever heard! Here you can find fantasticly evil, furious energy laced with melodic riffs! It's addicting!

Such a great old-school death metal album, with early approaches of a melodic touch.
Some Necrophobic... yeah, maybe a little, much more Ancient God of Evil, I would say.

"Tears" is such a beautiful song! A true gem 💎 (and the melodic riffs sound like something that Dan Swanö could've written!)
