Grimind is a young band from Switzerland. I must say it right now, the first time that I listened to this demo, I took a big kick in my ass, because of the quality of the songs on this cd. We will be clear, we have with this demo a little jewel of gothic music a la Paradise Lost and co?

"Escaped from life " is an excellent demo, really I receive a lot of demo but with such quality, that's not same? It's clear that the influences of the band come from the last albums of Paradise Lost, it's this kind of Gothic music that we have here, but however sometime we aren't not too far of Doom a la Katatonia too. This is dark music but however, very catchy with great melodies. All the songs of the albums are this kind of songs that you'll like to sing when you'll listen to the cd. Really they knew how to do something a music really personal but however catchy and easy of access if you like such music...
