Dio - Killing The Dragon

Really goes down hill after Push, I's say

Tones down the epicness of the last album by quite a lot, in favour of a more straightforward heavy metal style. That's not too bad however, given how strong Dio's vocal still sound here. I'd say the second half isn't as strong as the first half, save for that brilliant keyboard solo in 'Before the Fall' (Rainbow memories ensue).

Better as last 2 albums, a bit 80's trying sound into it, even its fail but still better as latest 2

It's a alright record, the Powerslave sounding Killing the Dragon is a great opener and there's some decent tracks also after that. At the end of the record there's some clear fillers and even some of the "better" tracks are in the end not that interesting... Love the production, the guitars are really good sounding.

First half very good after that it becomes boring
