Pretty average. Feels like nothing really happens here. When they released Goliath I had high hopes about it, that song is awesome. The rest of the album it's pretty slow/boring, lacks of energy.

Slow/boring shouldn't be confused w/ lacks energy or 'bad songwriting'. This is good, but not great. Nuclear Blast is having a pretty inconsistent year.

Hisingen Blues was better. This one has a couple great songs, but all in all the album is a bit too short and lacks real killer songs (aside from Goliath).

After the first listen I thought that this album is weaker than "Hisingen Blues" but now that I've listened to it a couple more times I can say that it's almost on the same level. There are some fast and rocking songs, such as Endless Night and Goliath, and there are also some nice slow, bluesy songs (i.e. Hard Times Lovin'). Overall this is definitely a hard rock album of the year for me.
