Ozzy Osbourne has become the forefront figure of all things Metal to both the fans of the music and the average layman. Say what you want, but he has an aura that few musicians can only dream to achieve and nothing else has contributed to that as much as his revolutionary look at the potentialities of Rock, his musical genius in general. Here's a man who pioneered a genre along with his fellow band mates in the legendary Black Sabbath, a man who has held a successful solo career for over 20 years, a man who has always dared to be transgressive without caring about extrapolated opinions, which is the mark of a true artist.

Melodious
The title track is an absolute monster, and is the best song on this album (and one of metal's all time classic songs). The album as a whole though, is very good, and is the last Ozzy album to be above average for most of it's run time.

The keyboards on the title track are just immaculate and fit the song to a T. Zakk Wylde's guitar tone is really the best it has ever sounded, and I even prefer this over his solo work. A defining classic.

This is Ozzy's best imho, it has it all, from great song writing, to the excellent solo's, despite the lyrics being slightly on the cheesy side. Unlike the previous few albums, this is very consistent, rather than having one or two quality tracks, this had many, with tracks like "Desire", and "Zombie Stomp", which were very good, but then there's the classic hard rock ballads, "Mama, I'm Coming Home" and "Road To Nowhere", and then there's the mighty "Hellraiser", and of course the iconic, classic hard rock metal anthem, "No More Tears".

Tbh I only care for the Randy Rhodes Ozzy albums.

Bark at the Moon had a couple of good songs, Ultimate Sin is awful and I'm not sure I've listened all the way through any of the others which followed. Perhaps I should give this one a go...

This is one of the few Ozzy albums that never featured Randy Rhodes that I really like, it's a close call between this and Blizzard Of Ozz for my favourite Ozzy album, I slightly prefer this, eventhough it's softer.

I think this might be the most consistent album Ozzy has ever done. I don't think he's personally really that good songwriter, but he has always had a tendency of gathering very talented people to work with and help produce some worthy stuff. That's just what I love about Ozzy, he may be little crazy and the showbusiness may be the dirtiest business of all, but at the end of the day he's not an egomaniac douchebag like some rock stars tend to be.

A spotty record but enjoyable nonetheless. Desire, S.I.N. and the title track are all quite strong tracks. I find many of the songs better on various live albums though.
